The only paddles that I ever broke happened to be QB  ;D. Fixing them can be expensive/not making much sense. I have one VDrive 91 cut at 74-75 that I might sell if you're interested.

Thank you Solent Foiler for this  great video!

I am SW FL and so far happy with my JL Flying V 6.5, plenty stable in crazy wind chop that I deal with in the gulf.

Excellent post, flkiter. Thanks a lot!

Since you asked this type of question I would recommend you to try and demo as much as you can. Ask forum members that are close to you to demo. Don't rush and buy stuff based on your research. I live in Naples so here is what I think - I definitely prefer 14 if your goal is tracking, speed and stability. Durability wise - I had good luck with starboard, SIC, Infinity, JP. You need to decide if paddling flat water is going to be your only thing or you would like to be able to catch a few waves here and there - it will dictate the design. There are so many options/variables here that it will take a novel to explain all intricacies. I PERSONALLY like/prefer downwind or allwater type boards for almost everything. They paddle nicely on flats and chop and super fun on wind swell that we get on the gulf in the winter. My all time favorite is the classic sic bullet - all around winner in my book. You can pm me if you want to demo my boards, once this craziness is over.

Can you tell me what size carbon tubes you ordered from Amazon? I was thinking 6mm but wanted to ask and see if you could share? Thank you

I ordered this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07R6QTQNN?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image
I would go with 6mm though since 5 were a little too tight.

Agree Admin, 5m Swing is very special. I think the range is wider than fone prescribes. I took it out even in 35mph once and it was manageable but a little scary  ;D those speeds still get me.

Hey Quick, I think you made up your mind already on what to get and basically looking for our support in your decision. Swing is an amazing wing, I donít see you being upset if you get one. I would go 6 since you mentioned your winds are around 20km/h. Thatís light. So yes save yourself frustration and get a 6m. You have great foil, I wish they had 2400 front wing. It would make your learning curve even easier.

The adapter though wouldnít feet my Duotone pump, I had to change the hose to fit the fone adapter on to my pump.

Try this setup first

So i guess in this forum nobody is interested in Duotone..  :'(
Well, they should get their act together. They obviously donít give a fukk about current wing owners, look they never have battens in stock.

Gaznuts was on my GL210 with his Swing Wing 5m, 20 mph wind. He said he kept his feet in the same position as the regular Go Foil wings.
Yep, Paul was kind enough to let me run his gl210 with regular maliko tail. I didnít change my foot positioning at all. Nice wing with good lift for my 170lbs.

Sounds like great progress Ninja.  Riding offside is worth knowing.  It feels incredibly awkward at first.  Whose body is this?  Give it a few weeks, though and it will work itself out.  You already know what to do, you just need to let your mind adjust to it actually happening.  :)

Totally agree with Admin. I couldn't really do my other side but then it clicked and now it feels almost the same. Takes time, keep going Ninja!
