Hi SUP44, I am in Venice, California. This has been a toughboard to hunt down unless I want to order it a full price. I am interested in a used version to keep the costs down. Let me know if you are willing to sell your board and at what price.

Hello my fellow SuP'ers. I am looking to buy a used or new Starboard brushed carbon wave pro 7'4. Anyone have one to unload or know of anyone. This is a tough board to find under full retai price. Any help I can get would be much appreciated

I recently went from the 7'4x28 Naish Hokua to the Starboard wave Pro 7'7x27". I like the versatility and it's ability to drop walled up beach break surf. I can take this board out in all conditions. I really love it:)

I saw a close up pic of his set up. The bindings were old Salomon Equipe 977 driver alpine ski bindings mounted to the skis and he was using an alpine ski boot as well. I bet he cranked the DIN of the bindings all the way up!

I ride a 7'3 SUP and have to be further inside. I have a heck of time getting waves on busy days because those on longer SUP's can get on a wave so much earlier. The bummer is when someone sees that I have to position inside and and refuses to let me have a wave. they catch the best wave in the set, return, and catch the best wave in the next set with no regard to the fact that I have been patiently waiting my turn.

I can definitely sympathize with prone surfers.

I have a C4 9' x 25" batwing that I loan out to my friends who don't want to learn to SUP when they come for a visit.  They don't seem to have any trouble and in fact really like the board for prone surfing.

I think surf4fun is fully aware that localism exists.  His point was that this localism is childish and frustrating for those who work hard for a living and just want to surf and not be hasseled in the line up just because they SUP.  I, too, feel some of the attitude in the lineup gets a bit ridiculous sometimes.  Personally, if throwing down in the parking lot to earn my spot in lineup is what it takes, I'm all in.  Trust me fellas it will suck to get your ass kicked by a chick

Cool Strand. That's what I thought. You always have fun things to say. Thanks for the clarification. Dogpatch is where I usually surf, hope to meet you someday out there:)

As for the knee paddling, hurts just thinking about it. I have had both ACL's reconstructed and kneeling is not an option for me.  I have always had to stand getting out past the surf since day one.

Hey Strand, please clarify the "I call out chicks" statement. You call out all women or just ones not adhering to proper etiquette in the line-up.  I would hate to think I would get "called out" just because I'm female. I can hang with the boys just fine. Hopefully you meant something else and I'm misinterpreting the statement.
