Lookin for something smaller than 930 HPS probably should have gone 880 but hindsight oh well. 700 might be to small DW mentioned an 830 HPS is that a typo or has that wing not made it on the Axis site yet? Thanks for any info

SUP General / Re: Any one find a creative solution to the LIFTSUP

Handles funny stuff, when I first started in 07 most boards didn’t even have a handle you just chucked it over the shoulder and  prayed the wind was light. When the first handles did start to come stock on boards they were not that great, shallow, narrow, and prone to making your fingers cramp.
When I ordered my speed 4 years ago the last thing I thought about was the handle things like volume, outline and most importantly rail refinement were on the top of the list.

I don’t know why Sunova still keeps using the liftsup I don’t wear gloves so it really has no negative effect but the ledge handles like jimmy lewis uses on his boards feel so nice on my hands. The only plus of liftsup is you can lay the paddle shaft on it while you carry. Also the hassle of cutting it out and replacing doesn’t seem worth it.Would like to move on from my 8-10 speed but those sunovas are pretty bomb proof and the weight is not bad, moving on also cost $$

If your going to spend big$$$ on a suit I really like the O’Neill psychotec 5.5 4 keeps you way warm and seem to last.I also have a  mutant nice suit but the zipper is a pain in the ass and it flushes water more than the psycho.

Thanks for the info me 185lbs always in full suit booties PNW . My current board says 130 lit but I think they are off on that as I sit low in the water witch I like the 8.2 is as short  as I would go lots of bump and water moving up here.

I surf the Oregon coast year round water temp is usually in the 52 deg. range sometimes dropping to 47 in the spring early summer when the upwelling kicks in. Call me a wuss but most of the time iam in a 5-4 front zip with hood and at least 3mil. Booties. Invest in a good suit fully taped or liguid sealed it going to set you back at least $400 + but worth every $ rinse it of after every sesh and you will get your money’s worth. The newer neoprene is warm supper flexible easy on off but does not last as long as the old stuff.

He won’t have to worry about that board just a quick trip back to the quatro factory and paint with new sponsor logos!

I just want to know how many big entry level sups are sitting in garages and stuffed under decks ect .It doesn’t take long for the average joe to get bored with paddling on the local pond. I don’t think any of the retail shops will admit that the glory days of boards flying out the door are over.

Contact cement gets my vote just brush to both surfaces don’t stick it down right away let it dry for about 10-15 min. Then press together always seems to work.
