Only 8 weeks to the CCBC -time to get serious about training!
If you are training for the CCBC and are in MA we are doing short training almost daily out of Duxbury. We do longer runs on the weekends. Hit me with a PM if you are interested.

SUP General / show your webcam pics!

I love living in New england. The waves are certainly not as great as some places but check out the snow + sea + sky + lighting in this webcam pic from today...really cool.

I'd love to see what I'm missing from other spots...anyone got other webcam pics?

Share the Stoke / VA Beach SUPers?

Hi all,
Stuck in VA beach with no waves until Thursday. I tried renting a SUP but have struck out so far. Anybody in the area have a SUP to rent, loan or share for a few hours? I need to try to put some hours in before the Cape Cod event on Saturday. Thanks in advance.

Gear Talk / ...so is it like flossing and yellow lights?

Air vent. I know you're SUPPOSED to unscrew it after every time on the water but is it like flossing and yellow lights...you know you should do it, you think about doing it, but you mostly ignore it? Should I be taking this more seriously?

Gear Talk / soft roof rack for paddleboard...

After doing a bunch of research I have decided against a thule or yakima hard rack for my old gutterless sedan. On vacation I recently rented a paddleboard and got the soft racks (that thread through the car) for a small sedan & they worked great! I want this system for my car (cheaper, easy to remove, no damage to doors, etc.) I have been checking out several brands (FCS, Kommunity, XM, etc) but the single rack system seems too narrow for a paddleboard & I'm not sure the double systems will work (too many straps?) Anyone have suggestions/experience in soft rack systems?
