Very practical and warmer than a beanie thanks to its padding, with ear flaps that can be fastened at the chin to protect the ears, jaw and lower chin from the cold.
Much nicer than a hood because we keep very good hearing / balance.

The new model gets a velcro chin strap, very easy to handle even with gloves or frozen fingers.
