SUP General / New design,Wide Speed, Infinity
« on: January 23, 2022, 11:01:48 AM »
Its been awhile since I've posted but still cruise around the zone reading all the stories.  Thank you all for sharing..
I was on the Infinity SUP / Surf, site. There is a New design being offered; 2022, A Wide Speed Model.  Offered in 8 sizes from 7'-7" to 11'.   I had seen a 8-2 x 32'' offered in this design. Similar specs to my Starboard 8-2 Wide Point, which is the board I've had for many years,  which is  no longer offered by SB. ( discontinued ). I was going to call the company for info on the new model.  Be happy to share their info.
Just wondering if any fellow zoners have insight or info on this new design..
Thank you for your time and energy for reading and / or responding.

Fish Tales, Stand Up style / Low Country Red fishing
« on: February 04, 2012, 05:42:18 PM »
Stand Up fishing shallow water off some of the local docks and was able to catch several sizable Redfish. My largest catch was 33 inches. All of the fish I caught was over 25'' easy. I had several that broke off or the lure was let go and one fish just ran toward the docks and I couldn't stop. Must have been pretty big and hid in the poles. Today reminded me of catching school Stripers up north. All fish were released for the next time.. Weather was perfect overcast ,light winds and warm 71* F temps ... Not bad for early Feb. Low Country of South Carolina  at its best..Reminded me of fishing for Stripers Up north..

Sessions / 1-2 ft waves on a 9-2 AA
« on: December 01, 2010, 04:30:36 PM »
Have a new BW PSH 9-2 AA and was kind of concerned that the board would not float my 190 stocky frame in the small gutless waves. Worked great and was able to move it and turn the board. Worked great for the small waves now looking forward to the larger upcomming winter surf.  Here is a vid of the session today. Burke's Beach, Hilton Head Island , SC.
