Finally bitten the bullet and starting sup foiling on a DC foiilboard (7'2) and go foil wing setup, Just wondering what legrope setup is recommended as I've had my short 6 ft cord caught around the back wing a few times. Seen waist cords , knee cords and curled cords as well as ankle leashes . What are your thoughts? Waz

This afternoon saw me back in the water getting a few waves since having a heart attack on May 27th whilst surfing with my school surfing class. Felt unwell suddenly, lightheadedness, indigestion pain and fatigued at the same time so went in and called my doc who got me to have a blood test and ecg.Got the call back a few hours later telling me I had to get to the hospital ASAP as I had had a heart attack in the surf.(WTF) Initially thought my new 7'8 Minion was giving me a good workout! 3 Stents later from 3 arteries 99,95,92 % blocked I'm good to go again. I never have smoked, don't have diabetes, normal cholesterol and BP and am fit as I am a 49 year old PE teacher. Specialists can't tell me why it happened as no family history either. Probably the reason I am posting this is to just remind everyone who reads this is to get regular checkups from your GP and listen to your body and any pain above your ribs. Stats show that 50% of heart attack victims don't make it to hospital alive. Glad to be looking at the water from 6 foot above instead of below

I have a new PSH 9'6 WAA and it has got a marble coloured deckgrip with PINK swirls running through it. The board is new and came with the grip so does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can either change the colour to get rid of the pink colour or how to remove the grip painlessly I would rather keep the grip on the board and maybe dye / colour. Yes the pink does affect my masculinity and my surfing confidence Cheers Waz

Anyone got any fins setups that they are stoked on to use in my 9'3 Subvector.
I have the future controllers in at the moment, but am looking for some more suggestions before parting with the hard earned.
Anyone tried it as a thruster??
Problem is I am riding a 8'9 PSH Ripper and going back to my 9'3 I want to get a bit more performance from the C4.

Has anybody used these fins and can give me any feedback about their performance. I am wanting to try them in my C4 9'3 Subvector to hopefully loosen the tail up for more sharper turns. This board is very fast down the line , but I am currently using Simon A 4's (quad setup) and want to crank some harder turns. Waz

Thinking of buying the 9'3 Sub vector as an in between board on the days when it is a little choppy.
My other boards are a PSH 8'9 WR for the offshore glassy days and a custom 10'6 for cruising/family.
Can anybody give me some honest feedback on how they go.
I am 93kgs.

Just added 2 more FCS boxes to turn my PSH 9'6 WR into a quad. I know Blane is using Futures in his new boards, but I have a few sets of FCS fins that I can use to test out. Down here in Oz, we don't have the Pancho Future fins yet. The closest to the Future rear Controllers might be the FCS H2's centres in large. Anyone got any suggestions as to what FCS quad setups might bring this board alive Go the quads!! Wazza

I am wanting to get the 9'3 ripper or 9'6 Wide ripper but am not sure which way to go, so need some advice from anyone who may have either of these boards.
I am in Oz so will be mainly surfing small beachbreaks. We don't have the power in the waves like Hawaii so am unsure which way to go boardwise.
I am 200lbs and am thinking I may be at the heavy end of the scale for the 9'3 ripper.I surf daily and want to know if i go the 9'6 wide ripper how much surfing performance will I loose.

I have just picked up my new 10'6 SUP and need some advice on what fins to put in it.
I have FCS boxes and was thinkling of running a 6/7/8" centre and Kelly Slater sides.
I don't know what fin setup to use in it as it didn't come with fins (as my request) as it is a custom board. I am hoping that you guys might be able to help.
The board will be used in the surf, so I want a fin setup that is good in the surf.
Hope you guys can guide me in the right direction.

Has anybody riden the 10'3/ 9'6 Gerry Lopez SUP boards. They are soon to arrive down under and look quite nice. From what I can work out, the 10'3 is a bigger guys version of the 9'6 of the same board.
I am hoping someone can give me some some feedback on what they think.I am thinking more towards the 10'3 as a bit of an allrounder .
What do you guys reckon?

I have a new 9'6 rounded pin that currently has a 2 plus 1 setup. The fin box setup similar to the Joe Blair SUP.
The centre box is 10'' long and I have a fsc adapter which I could use.
I want to surf it more like thruster fin setup..
I was wondering what type of fins (must be fcs, to match the boxes) I should be using.
I have a 7.5 cutaway with m3 sidebites at the moment, but have been looking at the PSH(which look great) fin setups but they are all future fins.
Can anybody help with suggestions for which fins I should be trying?.
Aloha

I am looking to get a deckpad for my new 9'6 but am being told to stay away from black as it gets too hot.
I am in Queensland , Australia.
I would like to get black so that it stays clean/cool under foot but am not sure.
Has anybody got any feedback from their experiences??
