Heading to a family wedding first week of April and staying on Tel Aviv beach.

Any advice on where to rent a board for the week? 

Or anyone want to barter/lend me a board? Just let me know what you want me to bring you from California.  And, no i can't bring better surf!

Gear Talk / Switching from a PSH 9'6" Wide Ripper to a ? Advice Please

I've been surfing a PSH 9'6" Wide Ripper on and off for about a year.  I surf a steep beach break in So Cal.

After knee surgery I've finally got to admit that this board is a bit much for me.  I can stand on it fine in flat water or in glassy days, but I fall off the damn thing too often in the lineup on normal mixed swell days.   I'm 57, 6'2" and 195 lbs.

My go-to board is a 10'6" PSH Wide All Around that is so stable I could sleep on it.  But, it's too long.

I'm thinking about a 9'6" PSH wide all around, 9' Blair or 9'6" Nectar.

I would truly appreciate advice for strong surfing, but stable boards,9'6" or under.

Going to be in NJ for a wedding Memorial Day Weekend.

Any advice on where there's a good break say in between Atlantic City and Surf City?  And, where to rent a SUP?

And, how cold is the water?

Gear Talk / PSH 10'6" WAA v C4 Pohaku 10'6"

Trying to decide between a Paddle Surf Hawaii 10'6" wide all around or a C4 Pohaku 10'6" (or maybe even 10'0").  I'm big (6'2" 195 lbs) and surf a beach break.  Need a stable board.  But also want a board that surfs steep waves well and paddles fast.  The Pohaku sounds a bit thin at 4 1/8". 

Any opinions?  Thanks a lot for your advice.
