I am working on a few different techniques/ resins to better fix foil gear. Would anyone from the group specifically in So Cal have some either broken / dinged foil gear that is real cheap or donate it out ? lol I am in San Diego.

Foil SUP / Neil Pryde Large Foil

I have the neil pryde foil but need the tuttle attachment for my board.....would it be better to get the right attachment or I can get a plate mount dapter to make the tuttle box work ??

I ABSOLUTELY love the longoard style of SUP surfing. The asp SUP world tour or what ever we call it these days has so many guys trying wayy too hard and not getting recognized becasue they are just gettin compared to SLater and FLorence style surfers.

Wouldnt a bigger board contest be more fun to watch I know some pro guys who shred the hell out of those more "traditional sizes" lol

2019 Paddle surf hawaii will be back! they seem to be more in the entry level to mid market range of boards filling the RIVIERA hole in the market .....so i was looking for maybe some classic shapes and stumbled upon this gem down in san diego ...little far for me but just in case someone was looking in so cal ..

All these companies flooding the market makes it hard to sell second hand and then just perpetuates the “sups are dangerous in the line up” narrative. People miss out on the right board by going for the cheapest thing... SUP should be seen as a tool not a toy or quick money grab for a “board company”......

has anyone ridden this Sunova yet ?? 18x 24 ?! with a huge downwinding nose and deep sunk in deck!! I feel like it would be super fun but to me it looks kinda crazy or maybe its intimidating ?? IDK

Does anyone pay full price for boards anymore ? I know there is always the novice first timer category but for a person who continuously surf sups and experiments with shapes are you not just going craigs or local shop used section ?? Ive gone discounted or used on almost every SUP and had amazing fun and awesome rides but met a guy yesterday ( was surfing in san diego) who swears on buying new SUP every winter of basically the same board ....is this crazy? I WANT TO HEAR some stories !! lol

Is zane hawaiian at all ? I heard an interview where he was trying to learn hawaiian and was talking about "his" culture and I thought his family was all california people ?
