It works great.

Technique / Gliding over white water

Practice makes perfect.  Stay away from other people while learning.
Sprint Paddle in your surf stance.  Practice this on flat water first.  
Bend knees and lift nose and unweight at moment of impact and lean forward to complete.

This board is 12' by 30" with razor sharp thin rails towards the tail.  The 12'6" production boards are a little thicker.

This is from 2008, some are still pretty funny.
