Foil SUP / Manta Foil Plate to Tuttle Adapter

My buddy has the Lift Foil 200 Classic and he bought the pictured plate to tuttle box adapter for use in his Kalama Board which has the tuttle box.  He sent me the picture and it does not look right with the set screw.  I think the set screw is to prevent the bolt from backing out.  Inputs appreciated.  Thanks.

Foil SUP / Lift Foil or Armstrong Foil

I'm looking to get a new foil to be used with the prone board.  I'm currently looking at Lift 200 front wing, 50 or 40 back wing and 28" mast and the Armstrong CF1600 kit.  Inputs from you great foilers needed.  Thanks.

Foil SUP / Places to Foil in North OC- Learning

I love SanO but a bit far from the homestead in Redondo.  El Porto is closer but being a newbie I don't want to go there.  Are there places down in North OC, with gutless waves, thus no surfers so that I can learn to prone-foil?

Foil SUP / Humbling Experience

I went out for the first time today and it was such a humbling experience after 40+ years of surfing.  I was thrown off most of the time but also got “on the foil” a few times for 3 to 5 seconds ride.  The board - King’s 5x20.5x3 40L.  The foil - KeNaLu Foil.  Btw, I’d on the helmet and the Patagonia Impact Vest.  Going back for the second session Friday.

I ran into this video by Blue Planet while searching Youtube for something else.  63 liters surfed by 77 kilos shredder.  Knee deep in water! Forward to about 14:45 minutes into the video.  Staggered stance and standing just above the handle for balance.  Shred!!!!

I took a spin on a 7'4x25.5 78L Pro today.  After about 15-20 flops, I figured out where to place the feet, paddled around and caught waves.  At 150lbs (soaking wet in a Patagonia R3), the tail was buried 3 to 5 inches under the water and thus moving around was required.  Once in the wave, the thing is a ripper.

Gear Talk / High Performance SUP Specific Fins Question

For the last few weeks, I've been splitting time-in-water 80/20 between the shortboards (5'6 to 5'9) and my 7'7x27 SUP.  I mainly surfed the punchy beach breaks near the house unless driving south to Trestles or North San Diego County.  On the shortboards, I used either Futures' John John or FCS II Reactor tri-fin set up (medium size being that I'm 145-147 soaking wet with the wet suit) to get a better drive and snappier bottom turns and not the more "carvy" bottom turns.

When surfing the SUP, I used the same FCS II Reactor, both as tri and as quad, but I cannot seem to get the same drive and snappy bottom to top turns given that the SUP is wider at the tail (16.5").  Carving up and down on nice open face (on the SUP) is not a problem with the Reactor (and also the FCS Performer) as I'd recently surfed Baja in fun shoulder/head high point breaks.

So my question is ... am I stuck with what are available and can only dream of faster drive and snappier turns while SUP'ing?  Are there fins out there fitting that I'm looking for? I looked at SUPSports' fins but they seemed to have too much rake.  FSC also has "limited" SUP fins but they too have more rake.
