Gear Talk / Re: $38 for a SUPreme wetsuit?
« on: December 17, 2016, 06:27:36 AM »
I can't speak to their other products, but I'm going into paddling my third NE Winter with the 4/3/2 SUPreme suit and its holding up great. Warm and no issues so far.

Just sayin'

Btw, at least with Safari, you may have to dump them a few times to get them out. Many times if you click on "Remove All" it looks like they are gone...but if you wait a bit they pop back in. If you hit RA and immediately click done you will think they are gone but many times they won't be. Occasionally I'll have to hit RA as many as five times to make sure they are gone...they keep popping back in after a bit.

Probably an "Are You Sure?" algorithm... :)

At this point, I think the ads say more about the user than the website.  Aren't sites using algorithms that select ads based on your browsing history & whatever else they can glean off your computer?

Typically I see ads for categories of products that I've recently been researching online.

I started to keep my "Manage Website Data" window open when surfing online after I noticed that ads would pop up showing things I had recently looked at. This way I can track the quantity of cookies each websites tries to load on my computer and I regularly dump them. Some sites will dump upwards of forty or fifty at a time. Even this site loads and average of 7 to 12. Since I started dumping them regularly I don't see those types of ads following me around. Probably not a big deal to most, I just don't like the feeling I have someone following me around. :)

I couldn't resist googling and watching it again. I love how it's presented and  done. Short, to the point, non judgmental (judge for yourself).

See see see, he spit it out after he bit it off...IT WORKS!!!  ;)

I just saw an ad on FB about these things. I have no idea whether they really work...not that I really feel I need one where I normally paddle but I dig science. ...

SUP General / Re: What do you do with your car keys?
« on: November 13, 2016, 06:36:56 AM »
You guys are all hi-tec compared to me. :)

Summer: Seal my keys in a double seal zip-loc bag and put it the the velcro sealed pocket of my board shorts.

Winter: I usually wear board shorts and a cycling jersey over my SUPreme blade suit and as above, put it either into my board shorts pocket or one of the pockets in the back of the jersey.

So far (knock on wood) no issues. There is also enough air in the zip-loc it will float.

Merton's fiberglass supply in Springfield Mass.    Used to have good prices on epoxy,  System 3 dealer.  I also bought glass and Kevlar from him in the past.   JP

Thanks JP!

Thanks guys!

I just shot an email out to Banh Pho/Patrick so hopefully I can plan out and get this project moving.

That email just got kicked back. Hmm??? I used the link off of their website.

I mentioned before you should come down with me to talk to Patrick when he gets back from the Chattajack. Kill a couple of birds with one stone. Test drive the Speedboard, talk to Patrick about glassing your board. I'm talking to him about building me an unlimited and now that I'm thinking of it maybe he's the right person to talk to about fixing my old starboard properly as well.

PM'd ya.

Yep, you have.

Fins go on the left-hand side of the car :)

Ahh, okay. I'll turn the car around. :)

That's right you did...that's actually a good plan. Please let me know when that starts coming together.
