Hi, I am winging and kite foiling down in Turks and Caicos and snapped my front Moses 679 wing off the fuse.  I can not get anyone to ship in a timely manner.  Any chance someone knows someone down here who might have a Moses/Sabofoil set up?
Thanks for any help

I rode this for a couple days at the event site.  Fred Hope lent it to me.   I got off the water with no effort and was able to nail  90% of my foot switch transitions.   I am a newby to winging but have a lot of kite and pump foil experience.
Waiting for the board to become available to purchase.

Where do you think the best place to order one would be?   I want to be assured of getting one but want to make sure the shop I order from will actually  get one

Already ordered one.

I’m being told that these wings are 4 months out for delivery.  I contacted MAC and Live to Kite.
Anyone know who has them in stock?
Thanks

Foil SUP / Help chosing a foil
« on: October 22, 2019, 09:01:05 PM »
There is a ton of info i have been scouring here yet i think i am more confused than when i started my search.
I am 215 lbs, kite foil.  Currently riding a Kanaha Shapes 3'6" board, 105 cm ghost whisperer with a moses 590 and 633 wings.  Fairly proficient, can tack, foot switch on the fly and foil in about any condition.
I foil behind a mastercraft x24, on a lf galaxy board with a slingshot i 84 wing, riding 2nd and 3rd wave back.
I sup but have never sup foiled.
I am heading to baja for a week and have a jimmy lewis board i can use when i am down there with a track and tuttle box option for mounting.  I need to bring my own foil, mast wings and fuselage.
So i am trying to navigate the massive amount of foils available.  Can someone who is my similar weight and ability level provide some info on what i should be looking at?
Go Foil, Axis, Armstrong?
Thanks for all your help

I was down surfing on the Glenwood SPrings CO wave yesterday, and Kai came over after having been at the Go Pro games in Vail.  He put on quite the show.

Stumbled onto this thread.  I live in CO, about 20 min from the Glenwood Springs wave park.  I currently kite foil, have a number of different wings but have been using the moses 633 and 483 rear stablizer with a 91cm and 111cm mast.  I also have a SLingshot 76cm with 24 inch mast.  That is probably what i would use for the river.

Here is video of the glenwood wave, water speeds seem a lot faster than what you are riding.

Video of kite foiling, board size is 4'2", on a moses 633, 9 m kite in 18 mph winds.

We have had record snows, so am expecting water levels to reach in the 20k range.

The eddy i pop in from is full of rocks.

So i dont even know where to begin.  I would probably need a new board,  and then the question is how to get on this wave.  Rope might be best?  I know the saftey issues, but i could have someone posted on the rope with a quick release.

Any thoughts?

Here is some older video from the Glenwood Springs wave park in CO.  I am an avid kite foiler, have foot transitions down etc.  I currently ride a moses 590 and 633 when kiting, 91cm and 111cm ghost whisperer masts.
I also have the slingshot 76cm wing on a 24 inch mast for behind the boat foiling.
Anyway, trying to figure out how to foil on a standing wave.  Thought with all the expertise here, someone might have some suggestions.

I have three boards, starboard hero carbon, hypelink carbon and a squirt carbon.

The problem is the entrance, lots of rocks in the eddie.  And then the swim would be deadly with the foil.

The  first scene in the video shows paddling in.

Let me know any thoughts you might have.

I saw on another video TJ grabbed some fishing line with his foil, stopped him dead.

I have used that Supskin suit.  I am a big guy, and it was super tight on me.  It is a true Euro fit.

i use the crossover all the time when paddlling downriver.  You think that does not work on the foil?  I dont even live near any open water and only kite foil and wake foil.  But i am dying to surf foil once i get to the ocean.
