Anyone here aware of MLPA's?
Surfrider is supporting MLPA'S .Maybe we need to wake up. This process has moved fast in SoCal . in the last 2 yrs. http://www.spearboard.com/showthread.php?p=1014115#post1014115 7

You might try a circular sander/grinder, then apply contact cement before installing new pad.

sorry about the dental work , that sucks .
But thanks for warming up the kook in the red wetsuit. I paddled up near where the guy was and before I caught a wave ,he got off his surfboard swam up behind me and started rocking my board untill I fell off too bad I fell backwards and whacked him good w /the paddle.I tried telling the guy... untill he has a problem with my surfing etiquitte he should not have a bitch. The guy continues to say he is going to make things even and as long as I stand near him he will continue dumping me over. This guy a 125 lbs crackhead I'm about 230 lbs. This pretty much makes it difficult to punch him without potentially really hurting him . Also makes it difficult to surf too.It had to be pretty funny to watch. I'm thinking this could be pretty effective for these guys. I thought about taking / pushing his board out to sea while he is swimming to get rid of the parasite but he would rip another one from someone. Anyone else come up with a long term approach? Trying to still be a good SUP ambassedor. Any one know legal ramifications if he trys to grab my board again and he get beat or get hit harder w/ the paddle. Some tactics I thought I would make you guys aware of. 9
Came across this today .......anybody else got any good photos of their fishing rigs? or fish pics?

Try Andy Whitman at Angulosurf@aol.com, they have all the Angulo models and should be able to help you out.

Paddled with Gary today at the 1st annual Watermans paddle at la Jolla Shores.Every body had a great time and left STOKED!About 30 SUP boards all out at one time was cool to see ,and be part of the event.Nice to see how much variety there is in the boards and paddles that are available now.Thank you Mike for all the effort to organise the event.
We have been impressed with the design and durability of the 3 Angulo /Tropical blend models . If you are looking for stability and a board that will get you well into the intermediate levels of Sup, this line is a winner. We had used them for beginner/demo boards and have not noticed any chipping or dings with all the falling and paddle bangings I was suprised. We continue to hear positve feedback. The Santa Cruz,Santa Barbara/ Ranch Sup fleets have been seeing the same results. 13

Gear Talk / Re: C4 Boards?« on: September 02, 2007, 08:35:13 PM »
Tony ,
The C4 boards rip. After Starting out with a 12'2 behemoth that takes a very high skill level to actually surf well. I tried many of the different boards that are available today. So my personal opion is that the Angulos in the 11'9" and 10'8"models fit a beginner/ intermediate person well because of the stability they offer they will also perfom well enough for a person to progress well into higher surfing levels rapidly and then consider the C4s if they want to shorten the learning curve and still have a board they can use untill ready to upgrade to a more of a performance model. The Angulo 10'4 meets the need well for a lighter person also.We suggest this therory to our customers and are seeing alot of sucess. I have seen 280lb 1st timer paddling around flat water in about 10 min. of trying it out on the 11'9. On the 11'8 I watched one customer paddling into waves within 30 min., he was around 250 lb.I personally struggled to get to this point with much more difficulty. The C4 is the best surfing production board available currently but they do chip .I have not seen this occur with the Angulos. We just updated the Legendsurf.com webite and have included photos and info on all the models we carry. Aloha, Kurt
