Congrat's to Slater on his great race at the Battle........

......mean while back on Maui....uncle Wes should have known that someday Admin was going to find a way to get back at him... this time in print. Why?.... All because I called him to ask how he did in the Naish Race a couple of months ago on Maui ....after 15 minutes of uncontrollable laughter with tears ....I was able to breate again ....the best part...all at his expense.....now that was funny!.... I will forever remember that phone call brah ..way to go "Smuck"!

Oh yeah R....I would like to offer a training tip for your next race.....take more pictures....that way at least your your index finger will be in shape!............aloha a hui hou

Aloha...I have been using the new Lighting Bolt deck pad for about 3 weeks now and am very happy with the texure and grip. Some pads will over rash you getting in and out (assuming no rash guard worn) but this pad seems more stick than scratch and has a cool angled stomp pad in the rear so you can feel where you are without looking down. I recommend it highly if you are in the waves or working out on long paddles...a hui hou kakou

Rand...could you put a straight edge on the bottom of your board and check if it has a V shape. I noticed my Laird has a full concave bottom and the board I have been riding lately has a V shape starting at 55 inches back. I believe they call it double concave but the concave part is so slight that it is non existant (at least with my straight edge) and the result is a graduated V shape to the rear.

FYI.... pehea oe? is Hawaiian for "whats happening"
