She should not have to file a complaint.  It shouldn't happen period.  If your working or competing at a SUP event you should be an ambassador for for the sport and on your best behavior.

Standup Paddle Magazine is the best.  Akami, good stories and photography.  Reid has a lot of water knowledge to share.

So many more problems the past few years with hundreds of SUPs showing up at breaks with no skills or rude wave hogging.  I dont surf the good breaks on SUP EVER anymore because of the problems.  I dont like this ad but I hope that some thing good will happen because of all of this.  If this problems keep up more people are going to be angry and anyone who cares about the surf will not do it anymore.  Aloha and God Bless.

Thanks to Barger and Hendrickson for helping out.  I stay out after heavy rains.  Almost every attack seems to happen in brown water.  Plus I dont want to get sick from all the crap in the water.

R. Naish, B. Keauluna, Parmenter, and the rest of the boys are doing their best to make this work for everyone.  Yeah, they are in the business but that's not the whole story.  If you don't live here, you don't understand what a tough thing it is to keep the peace.  It's different in other areas I guess, but this is Hawaii, and we're all trying to keep as much Aloha as possible as this sport grows.  So far so good.

Gear Talk / Re: PSH Ripper 8'0" (regular) review

My Naish 8'4" is fast and stable.  I switched from the 9 no problems.  I had been using a 9 foot for a few years and was afraid that anything smaller would not work for me at 175.  The board catches waves and works in sloppy small waves and good waves.
