help, Not finding a board bag for the subject 116 liter wing/prone/downwind E3 board.  Is there a good, available, stock, product that works?  Day use, not travel.       The 6" thickness for 23.5" width is a bit innovative vs. bag specs.

I'm stoked to be 0-200-2 (2 draws!) vs Stockfish 13 on my phone for the pandemic given no human beats any of the top chess programs anymore (Deep Blue was a long time ago).  What was Crazy Crikey was Alpha Zero in 2017.  AlphaZero was AI that Google just showed chess rules to than had it play against itself for all of 9 hrs.  Than < 1/2 day old AlphaZero played StockFish (with StockFish's hundreds of years of accumulated humanities best chess theory database and multiple computer chess world championships).  Result was 28 wins, 0 losses, and 72 draws in favor of the newborn AI.    AlphaZero did not care much about possessions, it would sacrifice material (pawns, knights, ...) all opening long to provide for movement.  Stockfish would do what people sometimes do, use stronger pieces to protect weaker pieces which against AI anyway seemed to tie up the stronger pieces.

How does one reacts when things go sideways?   Twenty+ years ago in Pakistan I witnessed a Construction Manager of a large, tough project unload on a high level client representative.  30 seconds after he winked at me and calmly said, "how did that sound?"  The CM's tirade was measured and did not reek of contempt.

"Kavanaugh has revealed himself to be a man without measure, capable of frenzy, full of conspiratorial venom". Roger Cohen.    ...   Consider the source, but the words also.

Who do you want around you, influencing your fate, when things go upside down?

On some recently popular “non”-fiction:
Yuval Noah Harari wrote in Sapiens:
Homo erectus basically flat lined on stone tool technology for Two MILLION Years … and there are NO physiological differences (mental, physical, emotional) between sapiens of 300,000 years ago & Bill today.
He continues that Sapiens' tech leap is due to the creation of “myths” (i.e. gossip combined with making up realities, sort of how Larry Ellison sold Oracle before it was even coded, or Goldman Sachs products, or news).

The big projection is that with societies’ acceleration the next few decades could make the last 300 yrs look like Homo erectus’ rate of advancement.
And when so,
Then take the inverse of Brene Brown’s writing that, rock bottom is not being able to lower your own standards fast enough.

Still on Pinker’s, “Angels”.

Thanks, but still trying to picture (or in denial about) exactly what the algorithm does with my age.  I did score 81%.

Concur.  Small day, big board, 10 feet from beach on a 1 ft, last wave of the day. Board jacked up a bit, yawed 30 degrees left, then rolled.  Rail hooked the back of my right knee and pulled it & me towards shore tearing the MCL (all in about 2 seconds).   Years later still not sure if I heard the ligament pop or just felt it pop, but still my worst wipeout ever.

If I can go to sleep in Seattle and wake up in Tofino (or Whistler) along with 10 million+ others we will need autonomous boards.

20,000,000,000,000,000 calculations per second (+Moore's Law) w/ radar,
car-to-car position, speed, wheel position, brake status, ... gyroscopes
Slush vs landing a rocket upright.

Tech is starting to change faster than society's adaptation capacity.

Natural gas passed coal last year as the largest source of USA power generation.
The majority of new construction generating capacity in 2015 world wide was renewable.  So much Texas wind its messing with grid stability (like Hawaii).
Things change  (Still lots of coal in the ground but its gotten expensive to generate with, so no new green field PPAs). Don't think its an EPA thing.
When will car batteries get cheaper than...??
