Wingingtanuki, what date was that outing?  Was it the 5th of February?  I have videos of that weekend.

Thanks everyone!

I used to stash the windsurf away by late August/early September and basically mountain bike if there were no waves, or surf if there was a swell.  With the wing foil I basically haven't stopped winging.  Swell with clean conditions I surf, rest of the time, with few exceptions I wing foil.

North shore is absurdly full of places to wing surf during season.  It is definitely a fun time.  Will say hi to Albir and the rest when I see them.  Feel free to contact me for info.

This is a Waterspeed snapshot that gives an idea of the area.

Hello everyone.  I registered today after a failed attempt a couple of months ago.

I have been following the forum since late last summer and many of the posts have been very instructive and helpful.  Wanted to say hi and thanks.

I'm from San Juan, Puerto Rico, started foiling late last summer, and haven't stopped since.  Had previous windsurfing and windfoiling experience.  There's a very enthusiastic and growing foiling community in Puerto Rico with several different hot spots and frequent gatherings.  San Juan, Luquillo, Isabela and Rincón come to mind.  Summer here is flatter (not flat) with steadier winds in the 15-20 kt average, and winter is more variable with occasional blasting winds and usually choppy and/or with waves.  COVID has been a pain in the butt like everywhere else, but foiling has been a great distraction and therapy.

Hope to be able to bring something useful to the forum and better yet, to see some of you in the water.

Cheers!
