Hello friends

Have a trip coming up to Monterey next week. Does anyone on here wing on Monterey Bay? Iíll be staying near downtown, near the pier and harbor. Also will have prone foil gear - looking for small low-power waves - still learning! OK on wing, intermediate level.

Thanks all!

Looks pretty good in waves!

When you let go of rope, move back foot forward a couple inches.
Less arm movement, power comes from glutes quads and calfs

PB, I'm in on the 5m.
Will need to ship to Colorado.
Let me know how to proceed.
Thank you

So I had a catastrophic failure of one of my wings. Blew through the bladder and ripped the outer fabric casing to shreds. Not sure why, was at 7psi, air temp 70, water temp 60, cloudy skies.

No local kite/sail shops where I live, what shop do you good people recommend I send it to?

Thank you!

Well I didnít have time or resources to go to a pro shop or get anything besides the Solarez I already had in my kit, so I went for it. Results are pretty good I think!

Howdy folks, had a nice taco today, with a side of shin pico de gallo. Any recommendations on how to repair this nice gouge in this slingshot high roller with partial carbon construction? Can I use a regular ding repair kit? Solarez? Thanks for any info from the vast zoner brain trust!

Has anyone seen/ridden this new company's foil?

Another stab to test with the GONG Curve XL, from my NP kit. Also filed the aluminum piece as per Dontsinkís recommendation. Fun stuff!

The tail was made by Daniel Andersson in SoCal. He made some cool foils a few years back, not sure if he still is in the game.

So I really wanted to be able to try different stabs and angles of incidence with my GONG foil, but as most of you know, their stabs arenít adjustable for angle. I purchased a piece of aluminum square tubing 1 1/4Ē x 1 1/4Ē, 1/8Ē thick walls, cut to length, drilled a few holes, now can try all sorts of stabs and angles. It was very easy, very inexpensive, and quite effective! Probably will seek out a carbon fiber square tube now that the proof of concept was a success. The V2 mast/fuse, albeit heavier than V1, and heavier than my NP setup, is top notch. Designed well, very stiff, and now the shipping to USA is dialed and fast. I also recently picked up a GONG superpower 9m v2 (thank you very much Fishdude-Fishman) and it is wonderful. Huge improvement over my v1 Pulse 7m in every way. Here are a few pics •

Also thank you PonoBill - you are an inspiration to this entire sport/lifestyle
