I have tacked it all back together with a little PU glue. The idea is too shape it now. Then break the sides off and wrap the central part separately. What could possibly go wrong?
I am thinking the PU will stick better to the HD foam and just rip out chunks of EPS where the glue is. I can just fill those areas.
Maybe I should have shaped it first then cut out the central part. Not much planning just attacked it!
Is it better to make a template for the outline or just mark the foam and cut it?

so going to build a board to learn on. Thanks for the help from people so far for dimensions, volume etc. Its going to be about 6x29. See on the thickness.
I had some pieces of foam left from some SUPs.
Vac bagged them together with PU glue.
Cut a 30 cm section out of the middle.
Glued 5mm airex to the sides and top of the middle section.
Made a sled to get a nice flat section on the back half of the board.
Looks like it will go back together!

Yes went to do that and realised my license had expired.  Guess I'll renew it.

Not sure what happened to that pic!
 I need to order hardware.
Front and back foot straps or just front. 2 at the front or 1. Looking at different boards there seems to be a mix.
Burchas any help with measurements would be appreciated. Distance of foil box from tail and where to put the foot straps especially.
The block of foam seems huge!

Did those wood foils look like these. I bought some too and never used them! The foam wings are RC glider wings.
Wanted to do exactly what you did on the front of a 14 ft SUP. Decided they were to big and never got around to it.
Gong has some of there old G10 foils really cheap. I have been thinking about buying them and making something.
So the 2 blocks are foam are in the bag and clamped down to help get them flat. I will screw a guide either side and sand the back half flat. Again Gong has HD foam blocks with the 2 tracks. So i will buy one of those.

I think I can get better advice here to be honest. There is no way I am paying 1000+ euros for a board either. So don't wont to waste their time.
I talked with the guy I am going to share the foil with last night. He has had some lessons and tried a few boards. He said dont go under 100 l.
He likes the idea of keeping the central part.

He's a F'n legend probably helps too. I was going to say he seems keen on the fwd fins.
Went for a paddle today and really concentrated on keeping the shaft vertical and as close to the board as possible. Actually dragging  the shaft down the board sometimes. It made a huge difference. Not a foil board but same idea.

If I glue these together I get 4.5 inches thick at the thickest point. 1.5 inches of rocker at the nose. The top sheet is exactly 30". It was meant to be.
Should the mid section could be flatter?
I think it will work though.
You can just see a vertical line on the bottom sheet. From there to the blue line on the nose is 6 ft.
