I apply the KISS rule to lockboxes and never understand why people scramble every digit of their lockbox code after they lock up (presuming here you are not using the kind where you punch the code in).

Drives me nuts at a few of my properties where I use lockboxes.

Just swipe one digit and you're good. Additionally, it's great for when it's cold out and your fingers are numb.

The fact is that if someone is going to spend time guessing your code, they'll probably just break the window instead.

Hey Sano - do you have any recommendations on what I would want to use to start getting into foiling in waves with a SUP (was thinking of modifying one of my two 8'10" Sunova Speeds with a box before picking up a foil-specific board.  I'm 6'3" 190lbs and a strong surfer and will probably be using it in sloppy east coast short period conditions (though I imagine I'll get foil brain and start doing it all the time)...

Pabst, sent you a PM.

SanO, thanks for the great communication and timely shipping! Psyched on the new gear.

I pre-ordered the Skydio and received it in early January. It's great for some activities like biking or snowmobiling.

Not great for surfing or skiing, so I already got rid of mine.

For skiing, it's descent rate is not nearly fast enough to keep up with any decent rider.

I didn't even try it for surfing because Skydio does not recommend using it over water. The camera based AI system has trouble recognizing water and obviously that's not ideal. Not the mention the fact that the battery life is around 15 minutes before it "returns to home" so in theory you would have to paddle out and immediately catch a wave or two before it returns to home.

I look forward to the next version which I imagine will be smaller and more FPV style. Can hopefully descend faster and have a longer battery life.

Iíve had seasucker for the past year. Took me a month or so to trust it. I was very skeptical.

But Iíve left it on my roof for weeks at a time and had zero issues. I love being able to take it on and off. And have never worried about someone stealing it.

For reference, the largest board Iíve carried is a 12í6Ē and Iíve even strapped two boards up there. I think itís a great system because I donít want a permanent rack on my vehicle.
