You could kneel, as long as you can get to the water without tweaking the ankle.

That or putting a chair on the board, those are what I figured, lol...

Don’t rush. Ligaments need to heal. I once rushed it and made it worse and suffered for months. It was a pretty severe one though.

Rough. Almost thought I was never gonna be able to stand again when I twisted it. lol...

Ice it... And give it a rest. I gave my swollen knee (from skiing three days hard in slush) a 10 day break from any walking , surfing, or paddling. Didn't use my standing desk for work either. Just sat and kept the weight off of it. It's not swollen at all now, so I flat water paddled 4 miles this morning. It's fine now.

Thanks for the advice. Did try icing it, the pain did lessen. But maybe I shouldn't rush into it.

Twisted my right ankle last week and it still hurts. Would it worsen if I go paddle boarding(on flat water most of the time)?
