i never really thought about it til i started riding waves.  i put it on my wrist that I'm going to be luffing with.

have you got it strapped to your back while you're surfing?  Are are you swimming out to the lineup with fins

i swim out to the lineup for the surf shots.

the wingfoil footage is a couple miles offshore, so i strap the rig to my back and bring it on the coast run.  stop and sit on board, get shots as they pass.

I recently received a dome mount to use with my Go Pro, and I can say the combo works very good with the over/under views that make sense for foil footage.

All things the same, except I have about 20 pounds on him.

The OZone.

I've had my F-One 4.2 since September and have it pretty dialed.  I've been racing a friend lately with his OZone 4M, and he's been smoking me.

Just thought you'd like some info on which one is faster.

great work DailyBread Surf Photo and looks like your having soo much there in paradise. How much do you weight and what wind range the 4.2M wing cover?

Thanks, I'm weighing in around 195lbs, and the 4.2 can handle 15mph on the low end.  You can also go on a bigger foil to make the lighter wind more comfortable and less work.  Usually when wind is in that 15mph range I'll ride my M200 Go Foil front wing.  When it gets over 20mph I'll swap down to the Iwa, for upper 20's and beyond I get on my GL140.

Gotta admit, you're making it look really fun DailyBread, and now I'm a little bit sorry sold my wing...til is starts getting a tad bit breezy here, and I suddenly remember how much I dislike being out in the wind. :o ;D

But if anyone or anything could change my mind about the sport...these last couple of videos would be it....nice!! 8)

F One is coming out with a 6m wing that is good down to 8kts that would be good for SoCal.  I'm actually considering getting a 5m for lighter days here on Maui or spots that get less wind.
