This is our second year holding " The Great Peconic Race "(A benefit for the Baykeeper )and were so excited and we hope you are too !! Please check out our web site and register ! This is an intermediate to expert level circumnavigation style event in some of the most beautiful and challenging waters in the north east. Open to SUP, Prone, OC1, Surf Ski and Kayak this 18 mile circumnavigation around Shelter Island is sure to put your skills to the test while offering the winners to take home some cash and great prizes. Big BBQ after !  September 20th 2015 on Shelter Island, long Island NY.

Im 5'10 167lbs and race in the 14' Division. My go to board in open and heavy chop is the 14 x 23.5 ACE pro, it is great!!

Dont forget to check out this event if in the New England area on  September 14 !!! This is an expedition paddle race open to SUP, OC1, Surf Ski, Prone and kayaks. 19 miles around Shelter Island in the beautiful Peconic Bay on Eastern Long Island.

Be highly visible, know the nav laws  , as far as I know we have no rights an must yield to all. Don't try to  pass at the bow always from the stern. Be careful .

Hey, just finished the levels 1 + 2 Paddle Fit cert classes in Westport CT. Met some really great people and had a fun time, but it wasn't quite what i was expecting as far as difficulty goes . Anyone else have similar feelings ?

Oh yeah , love it . Inflate to max psi and turn upside down, Use with Kettle balls, dumb bells, trx. Also planks , push ups , squats...
