yup puaena point is the place BUT early morning only be outta there by 900ish thats when the surf schools start up and it gets choked with beginners and dangerous
if the waves are big thats pretty much your only choice till you you get to turtle bay works but i dont know if its open...and the east side has lots of spots too...kahana...kualoa ranch...theyre all pretty far from aulani though
if the waves are small...i.mean really small...go anywhere its foilable but NOT the main break at chuns...and NOT the main break at lanis...and absolutelynot haleiwa....they been having problems
if its really small and not windy usually in the mornings early .
.walls is the spot...google search kamani lane..its the next beach park kaena point side from haleiwa...theres only 2.parki g spots so you probably have to park along tthe road...its basically the inside part of avalanche..about a half mile offshore....suuuuuuper long rides can ride aaaalllll the way to the beach if your legs can handle it....theres way too shallow reef right out front so walk 50 yrd left along the sand and thats where the deep channel starts...thats KaiBorgs home break so say hi...he house right across the street
absolutely googlt maps white plains beach...stay away from the main break right in front of the beach park..thats a no no...go way out to the far right is usually empty and all the other foilers go...or way out to the far left....stay out of the middle is for surfers only
also chek out bunkers...down the road from white.plains...end of coral sea road in front of the coast guard station....go in the morning afternoongets windy...even when the whole south side is flat bunkers usually still has something ...its a sandbar waaaay out at sea maybe a quarter mile offshore...google search..
nimitz covebeach....paddle out next to the jetty and go out to the right.
.dont jump off the jetty the rocks are nasty sharp..it looks like nothing from shore but if it evwn has a bit of whitewater its super good fun...can ride um all the way back to the beach but dont becauseclose in it gets super shallow super fast
dont even think about the west side..not worth it
