The board weight 8.7kg Starlite construction without fins.
I'm 80kg beginner to intermediate sup surf and beginner foiler.
The board surf better than I thought considering the weight and don't let the shape, length, and volume deter you because its a fun board, it rips and you can ride shorter length than you think.
It's a really stable board to foil and I would've like a jimmy lewis board but he doesn't make hybrid foil board.
The size, shape, and volume are on my limit and I don't think I could go any lower. The board feels solid and those rails are bullet proof but I think the weight could've been better.

some people are modifying and chopping the old tails and I'm thinking about doing the same with my maliko and kai tails as the prices of these new wings are ridiculous.

I'm guessing it will be hard work doing it with a wing and you really need that tail to counter balance.

not good and I hope all goes well for you.
I've been there than that and just to add some poorly design too, also their heavy because of the amount of stuffing they put in or their light because they have no reinforcement and they all look good on the outside but inside is the disaster.

Gofoil if you're reading at this, we need you to bring out shorter fuselage and more tail wing options for mid 2020 season  ;)

I had such a nice evening tonight on the faired GL210+narrow tail.  Got 20 good waves in an hour and that's not including the half a dozen early wipeouts or missed takeoffs.   If we could bottle up this feeling and distribute it, I swear it would be the end of all kinds of mental health issues.

it can also cure retardation as I'm feeling it  ;D

I'm still thinking on either narrow or wide tail?

Nice bottom board design SanoSlatchSup. I wish I could make my own foil board but I need time and space to explore.

Foil SUP / foil board bottom - flat vs concave?
« on: November 11, 2019, 01:42:10 PM »
besides the bottom shape, sharp, round and rectangular I notice most prone foil board have double concave bottom and most sup foils board are flat and also some have slight single concave. What's the advantage and disadvantage or is just a minuscule design advancement or artistic design?
