I cannot say enough about this board. I have had a dozen paddleboards and this one is my favorite by far. The V-hull and twin fins rock. Check out my review and tell me what you think.

SUP General / 10' & 12' Hobie Mirage Eclipse review
« on: April 08, 2021, 08:34:52 AM »
We bought two of the Hobie elliptical boards. I can't stress enough how fragile these boards are. They are very fast but have there down sides too. Here is my review.

Flatwater and Touring / Finally got a 14' Bote Ahab
« on: November 12, 2016, 01:28:33 PM »
We started out with a cheap inflatable paddleboard,  then a yoga paddleboard, then a Bote Valhalla 14' carbon race board, and now a 14' Bote Ahab. I thought when I bought the race board that it would be my last board but it is so tippy and on as we go long distances on the Rainbow River the race board is to much work. The 14' Ahab is so stable and fast. I know what a lot of people say about large 14' boards but just go out and try one, the speed is addictive. We still have a some 12' boards and they are so slow that they stay in the garage most of the time. The Bote Ahab is 14' x 34" x  8" and is 45lbs. It can hold 500lbs and even though it's heavy because it's 14' long is keeps up with all the other boards on the Rainbow. I made a video of the new Ahab [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exWrHL1JWjI[img]
