I was almost " last man standing" at Nahant beach tonight and found a wet suite on the ground next to my car. I left a note on the spot and texted to local surf shop owner and he agreed to take it. So if you or someone you know surfed tonight 9/6 at sunset and lost a ws - get in touch with Tim at Ocean House Surf, Nahant MA.

My son  is planning to go for a surf trip 2nd- 3rd week of September and asking me to join. He is prone surfer, I stuck with SUP. We both somewhere past beginning stage and trying to progress. Is this good location that time of year? Somehow I always thought about OB as a destination for wind- related sports.. We are in Boston area so this would be a road trip.

General Discussion / Anyone moved from Garmin Fenix to Apple Watch Ultra?

  I'm Garmin watches user for 6+ or so years.  I had F3, now on Fenix 5.  I take them off pretty much for charging only, and if you are familiar with Garmin watches you know it doesn't happen often. Not I'm not super athlete, I just like these, because of their features. When Fenix were introduced Apple watch were not intended for any kind of water sports activities. Now it's different. Without going into details now I have a feeling that Apple watch Ultra have all features I need.  The ability to make/receive calls become more important to me. I can live with shorter battery life now, when it's 2-3 days now. 
  So I wonder if any long time Garmin user switched to Apple Ultra watch and what's the impression.

Bringing up this old thread as I just scored on CL.  Used SOUL 9'6" in pristine condition and driving distance from my place. I got as my step down board and cannot wait to try it. Coming down from 10' 170 liters nps allourunder, so goal was to reduce a volume but keep the length around 9 and half and width for my 210 lbs..

When you list something to give away for free people reply with “pls pls get back to me asap, Im ready to come over any time”. As soon as you say lets meet at public place - they never resurface again.

 In never ending itch for a new boards I ran across barely used (accordingly to seller of course) carbon board.  Is there a hidden danger in buying it? Like material is getting older, drying out? and become more brittle? I'm on heavy side (210-215) and all my boards have a more or less noticeable stomp dents.  Should I stay away from purchasing such board?
