LBSUP:  Really liked that!  I had the same thing here in the northeast yesterday as well.  It was me and three proners trading off and on on nearly identical conditions to ring in St Paddy's day.  Super fun......lots of cross-stepping and just goofing around.

Thanks for sharing....its just about having fun and resetting via Momma Ocean!

Say, what was on the serving tray?  Looked like oranges and ??? I think I'd be in for one powerful nap after the el humongo sangria!   ::)

Continued fun!!!!!!!

Beautiful work Stoney!!!  Do you have a finished pic of the whale's eye?  Look forward to seeing the finished barreled surfer artwork too!!!!

Hope to catch up soon!

Two weeks and counting till your back stateside Creeker!  I know you'll be coming home with thousands of pics and many hours of video.......look forward to hearing your thoughts on what you'll do with it all.  I'm sure it'll be no easy task unless of course you're gonna vault it (hope not) for future generations(?)   :o

Until then standing by for a another report or two of Portugal, surf, and the peeps.

Really fun day!!!!  Biggie fine tuning the new Smik with some very nice rides!  One of those days were I wished I had taken the time to set up the SS3 but decided to leave it in the truck.   :o. Lots of hoots and howlers for sure and plenty of stoke.

Oh Cookie!  That looked like fun!!!!  Beautiful Wx, sites, waves, music and friends.  Good stuff.

I can't wait to surf again without a hood, gloves, and about 3 months.  :o ;D  But loving the crowds.....rather lack thereof!

Look forward to your SoCal video chapter 2-?

Stoney:  The whale eye is incredible.......WOW!  I wondered what the image would look like if I flipped the image and its very human like....very cool.

Can't wait to see updates on the barreled surfer!

Your woodworking is VERY impressive...what an awesome hobby!  Love it!

Love the vid Creeker!!!  Very nice blend of surf, sites, and new found friends.

Pretty spectacular to see that kinds of weather in a place that I've always more or less considered a northern climate area in terms of general world geography.  We'll not have that kind of water and air combo until June!  :o 8) ;D

Have fun!

Old Navy PT trick....carry little yellow mustard packet and suck it down then ya get a cramp...bye bye cramps in a minute or two.

Ah Cookie.....SOOOOOOOO awesome!  Pic #1 is the best.  I can see Scripts pier in the background and La Jolla in the distance.....such fun times at La Jolla shores and just south (Tourmaline).  I feel the hankering for another work/play trip there!

I'll be honest, initially I thought your trip was gonna be a bust given the rain and incoming Pacific nastiness but holy cow it looks like you've been scoring in a big time way!!!  Stoked for ya!!!!

Love the pics and look foward to more...and of course some vids!

News flash:  Still cold back East but all good!!!  Next 3-5 days we've got waves...... 8) :o 8) :o 8)

Always a fun discussion!!!  After 30 years of moving every 2-3 years we had the benefit of living at multiple locations on the East and West Coasts as well as the Gulf Coast here stateside - courtesy of Uncle Sam. I honestly thought we might have a summer get away here in Rhode Island but never permanent year round.  Ended up buying here in late late 2016 and moved in August of 2017.  Since then (some 18 months) I've been surfing each and every month - most times 6-12 outings a month - haven't missed a month yet.  My beach commute is about 5 mins and although this time of the year it can be cold I can't remember a time when I felt compelled to get out of the water because I was cold...always seems to be just spent after 2-3 hours of water time. This time of the year its usually single digit it!  One of the best choices we ever made. And the fact that its the place my wife was born and raised and still has family and friends is a huge bonus!

Your paradise is out there and awaits!!!!!!  Have fun!!

But will it nose ride????????
