My experience with XPS has been that over time it expands and swells. I used it for box inserts within 1lb and 2 lb eps and in all cases it swelled and raised abouve thoe original shape (EPS remained stable). My guess is that the blowing agent that normally escapes EPS when it heats is trapped within the closed cells and still expnds with heat but cant escape the closed cell structure. Just my expeirence.

Lift 120 HA / 25 glide with 36" mast. I bought this foil at Big Winds in Hood River last July. I took it into the river for 15 minutes, the wind died and its been in the bags ever since. No scratches or corrosion to speak of. Virtually new. Still has the stickers in the bags in fact. New today this rig is $2100. Selling this for $1700 including US shipping.

I contacted the company in that 3d printed boat video a few years ago with questions about using the technology for race boards and at the time he said the tech wasn't there yet. He was printing work boats for the navy with .5" minimum wall thickness and he didnt think 2-3mm was possible yet. But now, who knows. And for downwind i think a lot of people who have tried both a hollow channel board vs a foam cored one would agree the foam core feels better out in all that energy.

Carbon wont puff up when sanded. Kevlar does that, carbon sands the same as glass. He uses the grinder first to take down the big chunks and strands then moves to the soft pads. If you start with a soft pad at the start you just end up ripping the sand paper on all the rough stuff. Take the bulk down with the hard grinder , then go to paper. Use two layers of tape and seal the lap area before you put the tape on. It will help with beads pulling out when you pull the tape. The longer the tape sits the more the glue holds so once you start finish it as soon as the resin cures.

Supuk, click on the 3d layer slice and use the tangent points to round that section. if there isnt a slice there, select components, slice, new slice in 3d layer, choose the location and enter. you will see the tangents that you can stretch out and round that transition. Stoney, call Chino.

Holy cow. You guys are too nice. Im just a guy that loves to paddle and make the best boards i can. Thank you SOOO much for the kind words. We are just getting started and i cant believe the support of the NE SUP community and beyond. Thank you to all who attended the party ( sorry ! i forgot to post here!). And Ed, i have more small glasses, i will send one over. We just got a shop off 28A near the Bourne Bridge and there will be some of the baddest boards on the planet coming out of there in the coming months. Wait until you see whats going on in there. 19'6" x 22.5" needle, Prones, Classic Noseriders, SUP surf boards, full steering M2o channel crossers and the fastest SUP race boards i can build. As soon as the shop gets built out and i get caught up on orders, we are going to have a shop grand opening party and welcome everyone from the tribe. I hope you all can make it. I will post here with plenty of advance notice when i have a date. Thanks again for believing in the vision of Banh Pho and we aim to put New England and its paddling community in the same conversation with So Cal, Hawaii and Australia. You guys rock! THANK YOU!
