Guys,

The NEW Fanatic AW shape has thinner rails and is not as "Corky" and Fanatics AW construction is outstanding, and the new VCT (that the AW's are made from is amazing in durability, and lightness.

It's a board that will help you progress and is high performance w/o the high performance cost

Washingtonsurfer,

It might help if you give us your size (height/weight) and surf ability (what conditions you are comfortable in)
To give you a better board(s) selection.

but my 2 cents here

I'd look at the Fanatic line particularly the AllWave (AW) Lots of info on this site about them It is hard to be the quality of their design and construction.
Another line I'm really impressed with is Quatro (glide is the model) These are pretty advanced shapes and the construction is looking amazing (from my customer feed back and personal experience)

PLUS we offer significant ZONER DEALS on all products we sell board wise we also sell Starboard/Naish/JP Australia to name a few more

Looking forward to helping you find the RIGHT board

Gear Talk / Re: Windsurfing on a Sunova Creek

Hey,

The bulk of my customers (intermediate to advanced WS) have tried sailing the Creek & Speeds although the "work" they are very limiting planing is difficult as well as tacking (kinda important feature in wave sailing on the EC Here) We are starting to see mast track failures and the FCS fin sysyem isn't made for WS loads. Lastly the flexi ness of the board (as designed by Bert) further absorbs the power from the rig.

The CREEK is a great board for what RIK/Bert designed it for and windsurfing wasn't one of those things

Gorrilla Tape isn't anywhere as go as RSPro for a myriad of reasons

Yes boards could be made better so we don't need this stuff...But at what cost? Who thinks Race SUPs are inexpensive?

Just don't try to "Grip" with your toes
Remember to wiggle your toes and relax look out at the horizon and enjoy!
I have to remind myself of the same thing when i'm (tyring) to foil

The front wing size would be determined by ability and size But I'm betting you'll need the 84 Infinity.I found I also needed the bigger back wing but I'm a beginner in foiling and rather large guy/
BTW
You can forget paddling your Windsurfer been there tried that...no go no matter sizer or ability.

We can give you ZONER deal (significant discount) on Foil equipment above and any thing else you need
PM or email me

Scallop,

The boards you are looking at are nice raceboards and some of them can ride waves enough to get to shore not to enjoy (except I like ridding my 14Ft in tiny surf but that is another story. Anyway, you will need to keep a all around or dedicated surf SUP for any of those.

What it looks like to me is you are doing more touring than surfing/racing Although you will need a all around surfable craft for any real waves The Touring boards I've listed are (by my std's) fun to surf.

Fanatic RAY
Quatro ROAM
Starboard Freeride
JP Australia Hybrid (ACTUALLY REAL FUN IN WAVES AND limited Downwind)

To be more specific where you are located might help refine the search

Gotta PLUS1 to Clay Those straps (bungee) are dangerous I had several (like 3) have them fail and destroyed more than 3 boards. I highly discourage there use for highway driving
