I'd forgotten how awesome Kent Apo was in poor conditions (for Maui) on an old Munoz longboard. It looks pretty nice compared to 50 degree Oregon coast shore break.

Mmmm, if it were 50 degrees I'd be all over it, but it's more like 46. the river was at 57 a few days ago, but 50 yesterday--more meltwater coming off the mountain. I'm out in a 3/2 and at the end of a session my nuts are hiding out somewhere in my body, never to be seen until I spend 20 minutes in the steam shower. Oh--there you guys are. welcome back.

Wow, 2008. I was still rescuing kittens out of trees, and only dreaming of getting to the beach more than once or twice a month...maybe :(
Great video though, thanks for posting...did bring back great memories of a couple years later. Did anyone else see the early foil adapter at the 1:35 mark trying to "pump" up on foil...or is that just me being foil-brained now? ;D

Well Waikiki canoes and queens are epic at 10 -12. I finally surfed there last September it was 2-3 and I thought it was epic but it could have just been the warm water sea turtles and thong bikinis 😎
