Title: Wing Foil World Cup
Post by: Dwight (DW) on November 03, 2021, 11:07:41 AM
No wind, so I spent 3 hours of my life watching the live feed. Pretty fun. Better coverage than some of the big time surf contest live feeds.

I was impressed with the Gong kid. My favorite for his surf style. He would be the winner if I were judge. The kid was also the only competitor I noticed not riding a sinker. A small board, but he never sank when the wind died. Hummm…

The Duotone team riders were on the new NON Allula Units. Those wings, to my eye, where the best behaved in the contest. Makes me want a demo ride.

The YouTube algorithm knows my interests.  Hadn't considered watching, being able to fast forward the replay I enjoyed watching the good rides.

Mizo at 39:30 gets a good one:

The  Wing Foil World Cup is in Fortaleza Brasil now.
Freestyle is already finished today they will probably race.
The man's freestyle was won by Titouan Galea the women's freestyle by Bowien van der Linden.
