Title: Windsurf-style Waterstart

Almost like windsurfing but he sinks the nose a bit for more sideways resistance.

It’s just like a kite foiling start. Key tip if you try it, is pull the board up under your butt. Don’t extend your legs. It will take less wind to stand, if tucked up. I’m most impressed by how under powered he looked once riding.

The massive dihedral of that wing helped a lot.

I was doing that some time ago.

You can see in the video, who it looks like from the helmet. You need to have a good amount of power and consume more energy. Like 4 meter wing and 30 knt plus.

Right now I only use it if I'm in position after falling.

The easier ways, for me, are:
1- Sinker, get in the straps, back strap first.
2- Floater, get in the front strap right away ( or both).

I hope it helps.
