Anyone know the weight of a non carbon 6’5” JL Flying V?

Carbon and non carbon are the same weight - 15,5 lbs. Amazing foil sup.
Don’t waste money on carbon - it’s more fragile than classical construction.

Agreed, skip carbon.

Interestingly enough my classic construction JL 6’5 came in at 16.5lbs.

That info came right from the JL shop on Maui. Can’t imaging they were trying to mislead anyone. I went and bought that board this weekend, under the same impression as you. Picked it up and was like this more than 15 lbs. Carbon is 15.5
At any rate, this thing paddles amazing! No more missed waves! Can’t believe how straight it stays when trying dead starts in the chop.
