I use an Exocet RF 81 for windsurf foiling. Wondering if same board would work to learn winging ?
Im thinking a 6mm for my weight at 195 lb.

I learned with and am still using a JP Surf Slate which is the same length at 7'4" but only 115 liters. It should be great to learn how to fly on foil. Obviously it will be less maneuverable for transitions.
I assume you meant a 6M wing at 195 lbs? I think that would be good for 15 -20.
I use a 5.3 in those winds at 165 lbs.

My foil is the slingshot V3 Infinity 76 frontwing 90 cm mast with three different positions on the fuselage. WIndfoiling uses the B position, Kiting uses the A would I need to change that to wing ? The board uses the deep tuttle box not the adjustable dual fin boxes.

With the i76 foil and a Tuttle box I would try both position B and position C -- with winging I would think position B should work but if you need even more lift then maybe position C would work. You don't have a track to move the foil fore or aft but you can do something similar with the fuselage's different positions. For winging the foil normally needs to be moved forward compared to wind foiling -- also learning with a large foil helps (i99 for example).

Regarding the Exocet RF 81 - I tried to wing on my wind foiling board at first.
The nonskid had my knees bleeding within the first fifteen minutes.
If that Exocet has a full decked it might work.

Good point on the non skid on the deck, ony half the board has deck pad.

If you have an old wet suit or steamer then cut out part of the wet suit's fabric near the top of the arm (three or four inches wide) and pull it over your leg to tightly fit just below your knees -- this should safe your legs from the non-skid on the deck of your board.

I suspect the board will work fine. I taught my self to wingfoil on my Slingy Wizard 125L it was no problem. I liked it so much I got tracks installed ahead of the Tuttle box to make it even more suitable for winging. I still use it for windfoiling and light wind winging.
