Here's the full interview -- lots of winging history and what may be coming in the near future.

Some interesting comments:
- he name checks an Aluula type material as the future of winging but neglects to mention Ocean Rodeo when asked directly which brand is going to be first to actually launch a wing made of the stuff! I'll be charitable and suggest that perhaps OR hadn't announced their wing at the time, but they are intrinsically linked with the material, and kinda smacks of commercial protection a bit...
- windows - still struggling to see why people find them so hard to use. Pull wing a bit more vertical and look over the strut. Understand that they are sub optimal from a build and feel perspective, but I'd not buy one without.
- sees regular SUP as opportunity for big future target market. I'd love it to be so, but not convinced personally.
- great to hear the talk that kids love playing with wings, and interesting to hear him talk about progression of kids first playing with wings on shore to jump, to using skim boards, to using it on SUP, to foiling on knees, to foiling standing all without formal lessons. A big difference to kiting and windsurfing.
- bigged up the Dart - admit I didn't immediately like the look of it and just didn't look right to me, but WTF do I know, and if it works as well as they say for the intended use, more power to them
- won't be attempting a back flip any time soon! If far more talented people than me trashed multiple wings learning how to do it, sounds like an expensive trick to nail...

Could Slingy have picked a better brand manager/rep for wings?!  There were surprisingly few views of this podcast, but Wyatt Miller is just a fount of positive stoke. That was really refreshing.

It's the first time I have heard of him.  I love the emphasis on the intuition of kids and their natural adoption of anything that looks simple and fun.

Windows?  You pick your battles in business and press on.

Check out the winging scene in Cape Town.

Pretty active down there and all windows.

In one of those images DW posted (6th image) is the new Airush wing with two long handles or mini booms that was noted in one of the Wings with Booms threads!

Not all have windows -- no windows for F-One Strike, RRD or Ensis wings.

Balz Mueller said windows are coming to Ensis in next version.

The V1 for Ensis had windows and they got rid of the windows for V2 saying that windows were too: (1) heavy; (2) stretchy and (3) hard to pack.  It will be interesting to hear how Ensis rationalizes putting the windows back into their wings. Personally, I don't have a problem with windows but it seems most have strong views one way or the other.

I think it is possible to position the windows in the wing so that they are effective.  I found a video, which is attached below, that has a rider with a head (helmet) mounted camera and it appears that the windows in his wing are effective and what's downwind can be clearly seen by the winger.
