Title: Local Summer Lives!
Post by: surfercook on November 09, 2020, 05:32:32 AM
As some of you have already seen from LBsup's "Indian Summer In NJ" post we've had tons of GREAT weather and waves the last coupla days here in New Jersey. Temps in the mid 70s with light/variable winds and mild water temps (relatively, 60F) landing right smack on the weekend made for some great beach going and surfing. The last pic is my brother making fun of me on my 9'11" Ripper!

SOLOSHOT caught all the action again. At the 05:00 mark you'll notice a sup rider "Kayak" paddling his sup. He used to surf a Wave Ski back in the 80s and 90s and switched over to sup around 2010 or so.

Cool Marc!  For some reason when I tried the Soloshot edit app it sees the files but does not have any highlighted rides.  Seems like a convenient app if it works.  I also get a text file in the folder saying my memory card is too slow.

Nice. I paddle like that sometimes, too. I often surf for 4-5 hours, and paddle to the break/paddle back out either sitting on my but, or on my calves, as it conserves leg strength, and lets me surf longer  :)
