Title: North County San Diego foil spots
Post by: surfcowboy on September 26, 2020, 02:06:08 PM
Yo, please don’t blow up spots here unless they are “SanO level” of public lol. But I’d love some DM’s and I’ll be happy to share back any spots that I pioneer. (I have a couple of spots from corners of Surfline and Google earth that might fit the profile.

I’m respectful, alone, and can prone or SUP depending on conditions and vibe.

Thx

Sorry.  There aren't any really.  You'll find the locals not very welcoming.

Cowboy,
I am going to camp at San Elijo 10/3-9th and foil my ballz off right in front of campground. There is a lot of open real estate there to distance yourself from all the mostly beginner surfers out there. I foiled there for a week last year and didn't get any flack.  There are many mushy, easy reef/sandbar peaks between Cardiff and Swami's that are good for foiling. I have seen other foilers here too. Hoping for some wind for the wingding but its almost always glassy there. You can park on the 101 and walk through the campground and down the 300 stairs. It is a haul with a sup foil!!! Dm me if you wanna hook up for a session.

I will DM man. I also have a wing and am thinking of hitting Carlsbad Lagoon Tuesday if it gets windy enough (I’ll keep an eye on conditions.)

Swell may be a bit big for me this week but by the time you get here I’ll hopefully have some spots dialed.
