The 2020 model boards are starting to get discounted and I'm curious if anyone has a review to offer for the following two boards (14 x 24):
NSP Ninja
Naish Javelin
The appear to be quite similar...right down to their weight. I'll be using the boards on a flat lake that can get a bit bumpy and is suspect able to crosswinds.

Also want to consider the new 2021 Sprint in wood construction 14 x 23.5. So what is the consensus Javelin or Ninja or Sprint?

To complicate matters consider the following purchase options:
New 2021 Sprint 14x21.5 ($2600); New 2020 Javelin 14x22 ($2300), Used 2020 Ninja ($1200). Which would you purchase?

Can't say I know much about any of these boards, but not sure I need to given the price difference. If you're signature is accurate and you've been on an inflatable, I suspect any of these would be a good transition. All reputable companies with good products and I'm always happy to let someone absorb the cost of a new board. If it's a used board that has been well-taken care of, the Ninja is the clear winner.

2020 NSP ninja for the win. For $1200 I just couldn't pass it up. Sure, the new technology for the SB Sprint might make it a faster board but its much heavier and $1400 more (w/o shipping costs). I have no buyers remorse 1 day later but still need to challenge myself on a much narrower board. 8)

Good for you. Don't think you can have much remorse over that deal. Paddle on!

The only remorse right now is going from a 28 to a 22 is quite a jump!

Go small or go home!! Heh, heh, couldn’t resist. 8)
