I dub it the “Shame Bobber” and it solves two problems.
1 Tangled leash while foiling. Need floaty bobber. Since foam floats and is also soft...
2. Walk of shame foil mast shoulder pad that’s always handy. The traction pad foam is stiffer and grooved to hold the foil mast. I wrapped it with some black duct tape to keep it from separating.
I also shoulder carry from the car so this works for surfing too.
If it works I’ll make it more hydrodynamic.

Oh ya... CB. My first two-hour session in <6kt winds, as mostly an altar boy ...taught me: 'Git rid of that F'ing SUP leash!'
I made both the waist harness and leash; I will be sticking with the waist attachment but a coil leash. I may even limit the coils as a 6-foot board is sure as hell not as long as a 10 or 12-6. I have a long walkout, so the leash spends a lot of time scheming on how to wrap the mast. Press on.

What is a good source for coiled leashes? Ideally I just want the leash material but I have been down that road before.
With all these darn leashes everywhere I am finding the coiled leash to be a huge advantage.
Essentially we only need the board leash in case of rare separation. It doesn't need to be too strong. Accept maybe when I get back into the waves.

For sure Beasho. Minimal board leash is the deal.

I like the floatie.
Those coiled leashes look nice too.

I have to mod the design. Too much grass catching and not enough area to stay in place on shoulder. Will update as I work on this until I move to a tiny board and forget about it.
