Title: 8'4" Sunova Creek SUP - Nearly New
Post by: eddyonasup on June 05, 2020, 11:36:18 AM
Sunova Creek
8'4" x 28 9/16" x 105.3 L
XXX Construction
Rail tape added
Original Sunova fins included, never used
Excellent condition
No dings, a few scratches

I bought this board 16 months ago and used it sparingly. Surfs great, stable paddler in lighter winds. Has a long rail line, feels like a surfboard not a corky, short SUP. I am 5'11" and 170 lbs, for comparison. Can be seen around Orleans, Cape Cod or in Boston, with a few days notice -- while practicing safe distancing. No trades please, I am selling to fund a new board.

I cannot believe I left that out.

$1000. It's a very good deal, but I am anxious to order a new board.

Would this board work well for flatwater?

Would this board work well for flatwater?

Hi Spirit,

Short answer.....no it would not work well for flat water. It is a high performance surf sup with what has been described as "stability features built in". I have an 8'7" Creek and for me it is a great board (65 yo, 70 kg intermediate surfer). This is a very good price for a very good board. Cheers. Bob

Def. not a flat water board.

I am now waffling on selling it. I've been riding it for several days and it's MUCH easier with a 3/2 or trunks than winter gear. I'm 53, 76kg.

Are you willing to ship?

Sorry for the late response. I can ship. I have much of the original packaging, except the outer box. If the buyer is willing to pay for the box and arrange a drop-off location in Boston, I can pack it and take it there.

Bump back to the top. I waffle on selling this board, but it is not getting much use, except in summer.

The board continues to be in great shape. I am happy to cover packing if someone wants it shipped. I can meet up around MA, but because of COVID restrictions cannot take it to NH or RI at the moment.

thanks, ed

Just curious; what are you going to buy to replace it?

I am interested in a Sunova Pointbreak. That requires raising some funds.

Bump.

I would consider a trade for a SUP of comparable quality and surfiness.
