Stumbled across this video and I just had to share it!! Both him and the ISUP he used took a beating! It's a long video but really cool to watch. Shows an abundance of patience along with a fantastic sense of adventure! Enjoy!✌

Cool, I like that he undertook a rather odd and challenging paddle (rather than a spectacular trip)... just for the fun of it.
It shows what can be done in your backyard, if you are curious and have a sense of adventure.
He has a nice gentle attitude and a teachers approach to technique and gear.
Of course... with a name like "Creek", I am partial to the silly little waterways ;D
This follows nicely to my "Google Travel" thread
I got curious of where this was and how long the trip was.... because the going was so arduous.
So I used "Google Distance Map" to track his trip.
It is a very small and meandering stream
Here are some screen grabs of his route overview and some more detailed shots.
I guessed at his destination point.... but probably close.

How'd you get those screenshots???
If you like that video, you should check out some of his others. They're pretty cool. He's an emt firefighter.

I used Google Distance, then traced his route. I guessed at the finish.
Makes it fun for me to see what people are actually doing on SUP and where.
Then I just took screen shots of the route I mapped out on google distance.
Yeah, I like his easy, relaxed confidence and willingness to do semi stupid things, just for the fun of it :)

Rick'ster... I can imagine how that caught your attention. I hope to get back to those quiet places soon. It was nice of you to expand that for him.

I've never hear of Google Distance, so I just searched for it. Is it the Google Maps Distance Calculator? Because that's all I can find in the results.
