Title: "New" VMG Mako 36 fin
Post by: Luc Benac on March 15, 2020, 04:20:41 PM
Bit of an experiment using an older Mako 37. Looks like a slightly bigger Mako 35 with a little bit more base for a wider tail board.

Looks good, Luc. Which board is it going on first?

Good performance fins, and very light. But too expensive, and too fragile. They need a lot of sanding to fit many finboxes too.

Actually, “too expensive and too fragile” is a criticism that applies to a lot of SUP fins these days.

The fit is a problem too: FCSII fins are a nightmare really, because if they don’t fit well (which they won’t, in many boards), there isn’t a lot you can do about it.

The Sunova. I like the Mako 35 on the Maliko. The GTS is my "while in doubt" fin otherwise.
