Title: Back on line...
Post by: Allan Cheateaux on October 05, 2007, 07:52:12 PM
After a spotty move down the coast, finally into our new place right across the pch in Carlsbad. Walk out my door to Tamarack. Boo yah.

In the internet-less month, Ive managed to get alot done, including a few blog entries. One of note would be a hopeful guide to "How to surf with aloha"
Dig it and let me know what you think. Im in the process of writing up a pamphlet to distribute to shops and hand out at beaches to hopefully move the sport in the right direction. this is my first feeble attempt...

Enjoy and please feel free to flame as needed...

Nice work Allen. I like to emphasize the "explore" aspect. For me that's the major draw. Even on Oahu with almost a million people, I can still find quality waves with little or no people on them.

Guaranteed you can find an empty line-up along the stretch of CA coastline.

Thanks.

Thats what I love most, cruising down doing point to point runs. And there's tons of empty waves out there...

Nice write up Allan, Mahalo

 Whats you nickname anyways boss?

You need to have a plan for responding to Grumpy Old Crusteations like the one we ran into at Swammi's.

I prefer the standard giggle while looking them in the eye... works for me.
