Title: Nazaré
Post by: surfinJ on February 11, 2020, 08:31:16 AM
So here I am watching the tow-in contest from Portugal,in and out of the house all day. This last bit, maybe the final heat, don’t know for sure as the commentary has dropped for a while, has just shown an accident. A bad one. A surfer or driver is down.

I am watching the twitter feed and can not yet find out who?

I've been enjoying it on Fasebook. Currently Watching Sunova team riders Sebastian Stutuer riding very will. Maya also looks good on her Sunova. But Kia is surfing at a different level than everyone. He looks like some grom at a 2 foot beach break while he's going 30 mph on a 40 footer.

Alex was unconscious from the wipeout and they found him facing down on the water, and was reanimated on the sand. He was rushed to the hospital and he is now consious and recovering.

It only shows how crazy is Nazaré, they were hit by two massive waves coming from the side, and not from the ocean.

During the WSL event I was making the most of the swell 200 km North foiling some small perfect waves that were breaking inside the Douro River, in Porto.
