Short period, inconsistent and cold, very cold water! but we got WIND. That's our East Coast Maliko here in Long Island, NY.
Just because it’s winter, we’re not shutting down operations. If you’re game, I’ll probably be around to play...
What's your Maliko?

Nice! Were you by yourself? Also that mid board leash attachment sort scares me.

We have blizzard conditions here plus work.....
Good that you fell on the right side of the board! That was blowing very nicely. Enough to stretch the leash ;)

Looks like Kanaha yesterday (Grey, grey, grey, everything grey) but probably here was warmer.

Yes, solo ride. 6AM no one picks up ;D Short window of opportunity, had to jump on it. I think you would too, even with a 39F water temp. Mid board leash is the only way I'll go for DW (never for surf though), it's way easier for me to spot a whole board coming at me than just tail.

What, you don't call this work. Oh, I guess you missed the part where I had to paddle 2 miles cross-wind to get to my pickup spot. The land on the vid was an Island ::)

Looks really good! Love to see those bumps line up in front of you. Of course that's from the comfort of my warm office in San Diego :)
Do you use anything to track your heading when visibility is so poor?

I sure have all the gear for that but the bumps have their way to mess with my A.D.D every time I want to take a little peek at my compass. I usually have run buddies and between us there's always one adult. Not this time though.

Thanks for all your comments and stoke! Glad to see folks still enjoying classic sup action in this age of superheroes where everyone wants to fly ;D
