Title: Nosara Tips?
Post by: sea_mode on January 02, 2020, 06:52:27 PM
Headed down to Nosara Costa Rica next week for about 10 days (9th-19th) for a family thing. Any tips or spots I should definitely foil? Feel free to DM me directly. Im going to reach out to the Blue zone people as well. Anyone else going to be in that area at that time?

Thanks!
Chris

Great place, I love Nosara, I'd check the reef out at Playa Garza depending on the wind. I've never foiled, only SUP surfed, and mostly at Guiones, but it looks like there could be a nice little bump that doesn't really break out there, just not sure on depth/tides, etc.

Chase at Blue Zone is really helpful, I took a single day class with him, incredibly helpful, worth the money if it works out for you.

Have fun.

James Casey, Sunova team rider, is running foil camps in Nosara with Blue zone as well as other places. Check it out

Quick update - any spot recommendations? I may head down there for my 40th, it feels like the safest place to go with Covid, I know the area and love it.
