Title: Surf Lessons
Post by: surfercook on July 08, 2019, 08:42:31 PM
I've been fortunate enough this summer to have been offered a surf instructor position. Been at it two weeks now. It's mostly beginners w/the occasional student that has surfed once or twice before or maybe did some snowboarding. Lotta pushing people into waves. Had to do an online CPR test to work at the surf shop giving lessons.

I hadn't sup surfed in almost two weeks and today I finally jumped in w/it for a few waves and scored a nice fin cut. And tomorrow I have back to back lessons for four hours!

Bury it deep with Neosporin and wrap it water tight. Soaking it in the ocean for hours is not good.
