I've been seeing this a lot on IG. What I wish to see is some video of these foils in action. I may have missed it, but Id still like to see them perform.

A canard airplane supposedly has stall-resistant characteristics because the front wing is designed to stall first. When the front wing stalls, it brings the nose down, preventing the main wing from stalling. The front wing usually has a combination of different airfoil, higher angle of incidence, and is typically much smaller (not so much the size as the front wing on the Onofoil).
All this sounds promising for a hydrofoil but I do wonder how well it actually works. The intentional breaching when pulled by a kite...not sure it will recover easily while surfing, at least not for me. ;D As a beginner, I sure could use that feature! :o
Also, for the experts, I would think the design will reduce the ability to pump back out to the lineup. That’s probably a big negative to widespread acceptance. That’s unfortunate if correct.

Zeeko kites has had the Spitfire foil with a similar design out for a while.

I'd love to hear from someone who really knows traditional foils. The developer is a self-professed newbie to foiling, so I take the marketing copy on the website with a grain of salt.

My vote is for one wing with no tail. I am finding smaller tails beneficial as you get better. In the world of aeronautics the more wing tips the worse the drag effect.

Kiters have been fooling around with this for a bit.
